By using Bright Spots, you agree to these terms.

Bright Spots is a journaling app that lets you keep private entries and optionally share selected entries with people in your circles.

Use of the app

• Use the app lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not use Bright Spots to harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other people.
• Do not share content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not try to break, abuse, or interfere with the app or its services.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the content you create in Bright Spots.
• You give us only the limited rights needed to store, sync, and display that content so the app works.
• If you share an entry to a circle, the people in that circle can view it until you remove it or stop sharing it.

Subscriptions

• Private journaling stays free.
• Bright Spots Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple.
• Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store rules and your Apple account settings.

Availability

We try to keep Bright Spots available and working well, but the app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change over time.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or use.

Termination

You can stop using Bright Spots at any time. We may limit or stop access if someone abuses the app, violates these terms, or creates legal or safety risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we will update this page.
